90 days into CrossFit
"Four months ago I decided it was time for a change in my life. I got on the Internet and found Crossfit Boones Ferry! I hesitated for a day or two to actually go in, but after a telephone conversation with the coaches, and having them reassure me I'd be just fine, (even with no prior experience) I finally took the plunge!
That afternoon, I got dressed and headed to the gym, with absolutely no idea what was in store for me. From the moment I arrived, Trevor, made me feel like a friend, and like I was someone he had been training for a long time. He began explaining my workout, what Crossfit was, and a strategy for my first day. After a brief warm up, it was time! I was so excited at this point, I was running off pure adrenaline! 9 min. and 36 sec. later, I had completed my first WOD! From that point on, I was HOOKED!!
Since that first day, I have practiced a regular regimen of Crossfit everyday! I lost 40 lbs in 90 days, my max lifts have increased significantly, and aerobically, I feel like I can do anything. I've also started to shave MINUTES off of my mile time!
I've learned so much about the proper techniques of lifting, self discipline, eating clean, and how to push myself, even when all you want to do is give up! Most importantly, I've got in great shape, met a ton of awesome new friends, and feel better than I have in years! So to all the members of Crossfit Boones Ferry, and especially to my coaches, Trevor and Derek, for pushing me through. Thank you!" - Nathan Bell
